| ||Consolidated Abaddon commenced, on February 12th, a winter 2010 drill program on its Lithium property at Raleigh Lake area in northwestern Ontario.|
The Company previously announced that it would drill approx. 1400 metres. It is anticipated that this meterage will be included in 6-8 drill holes.
As of today, February 22, 2010 , the Company has completed 3 holes. A 4th hole is now in progress.
Hole #1 was drilled to depth of approx. 130 metres.
Hole #2 was drilled to depth of approx. 180 metres.
Hole #3 was drilled to depth of approx. 195 metres.
Hole #4 is @ 203 metres this morning. The Company anticipates completing this hole to a depth of 260 -- 270 metres approx.
Consolidated Abaddon is pleased to report that all 4 holes drilled have encountered significant intersections of a Pegmatite sill that is the known host to medium grained, low iron Spodumene in a quartz Feldspar host.
Very limited drilling in 1999 returned assay values of .6% Li over 3.2 metres (RL99-01), 1.0% Li over 4.1 metres (RL 99-04), and 1.5% Li over 6.9 metres (RL 99-05).
The pegmatite sill intersections (with up to 50% Spodumene) seen by Abaddon to date vary from 4 metres to 10.45 metres in thickness at relatively shallow depths.
The known pegmatite to date is believed to dip eastward at approx. 15.20 degrees and extend downdip for at least 425 metres where it remains open.
